WHO WE ARE

The members of Spirit and Praise Church want to see people in our area come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ. We believe that one must be filled with the Holy Spirit and be baptized in Jesus name, as this is fundamental doctrine of the Bible. When one is born again by the infilling of the Holy Spirit, they have an ability to live a victorious life. A life that will no longer be held captive by addictions, diseases, trials, and many other problems this world faces.

Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

Our Purpose

We understand there are many hurting people in this world today and we have the answer for them. That answer is Jesus, he is the hope for the hopeless and salvation to the lost. There is a liberty available today that can only be found in Jesus Christ!

1 John 5:4-5
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
